Let me tell you about myself.

Hello! Tere! Merhaba! Ciao! Hola! Konnichi wa! Ni hao! Privet!

There are about 6900 living languages worldwide and you are one step closer to learning one of them. From my own experience I can tell you that learning a new language is an exciting, challenging and fun experience.

Languages and traveling have been an important part of my life since I was a kid. By now, I have more than 3 years of experience teaching English in language schools. I have worked with all levels from kids to adults in various international schools in Italy, Turkey, Indonesia and Taiwan. Currently I’m working in a well-known international school in China. I have more than 4 years of experience tutoring adults and children between 14-18 years in Estonia, Italy, Turkey and Japan.

I’m a self-taught teacher and spend a lot of time looking for new teaching materials, ideas and trends. I like to keep myself up-to-date. I have TEFL certificate and have passed various trainings in the language schools I have worked in.

There are a few things I always keep in mind while teaching:
1) I want my students to enjoy themselves. Learning a new language has to be a pleasant, fun experience, not an obligation
2) I want my students to learn more than just a new language. During the first lesson my main goal is not only to find out what language points to focus on but also to get to know what interests the person and what would he/she like to learn about. Few of the topics discussed have been traveling, cultures, customs, environment, marketing, Guinness World Records, World Heritage Sites etc.
3) Everyone has their own pace of learning. We move on exactly as slow or as fast as the student wants and needs.

I teach using Direct Method. This method of total immersion has been proven to be the most effective means of rapidly developing real language skills. It is recognized as one of the best methods for language instruction and currently used around the world. I’ve used it for many years in teaching and while learning languages and have seen the great results it gives. It has proven to help students to start quickly and easily think in the new language. It’s also a fun and engaging method that students in every age enjoy. If you are tired of learning grammar rules and vocabulary you never need and look for a fun and quick way of learning, then Direct Method may be for you!
